ESL One Birmingham 2024 (April)
The ESL One Birmingham 2019 midlands tournament hosted by Dota 2 kicked off the UK esports tour and its 2020 edition was later called off because of the coronavirus disease outbreak.
According to Esports Charts, this tournament was watched by approximately 328,345 viewers, the 7th highest number of viewers in any ESL One Dota 2 event, and the crowd (both online and on site) loved it. Nevertheless, it was only second to ESL One Birmingham 2029 by a little over 30,000 people. Team Falcon, a Saudi Arabian esports organization, won the championship event worth $1,000,000.
Rainbow Six Major Manchester (May)

In its latest major, the Rainbow Six Siege esports circuit was brought to Manchester by tournament organizer BLAST after moving north. On the trip were 20 teams in all prepared to compete for $750,000 total. The country’s big R6 Rainbow Six event since 2016 was actually held at Leicester’s Pro League Year 1 Season 2 Finals; however, this was the first R6 Major in history to be hosted in the UK.
A major new champion emerged in the Rainbow Six world, as the North American organization beastcoast emerged victorious from the BEC Arena in the recent encounter with the Six Jönköping Major 2022 champions, Team BDS. The Manchester tournament, which is the fourth most popular Major in the history of the game both in terms of total viewership as well peak viewers, had 162,094 people watching it.
HCS 2024: London Major (May-June)

Straight after the Rainbow Six Major in Manchester was the Halo Championship Series (HCS) Major in London, the first of many events to hit the city this year.
Quadrant, a UK esports brand founded by Formula 1’s Lando Norris, hosted the second HCS Major of 2024 at the famous Twickenham Stadium. FaZe Clan took the win and got a chunk of the $250,00 prize pool.
ESI London 2024 (June)

June 13th at BOXPARK Wembley, ESI London one of our big B2B esports conferences. Since 2018 the conference has brought together some of the biggest names in esports to network, watch industry panels and discuss the latest in the scene. Tickets still available now!
Alongside ESI London 2024 we are introducing ‘An Evening With’ a community event this year celebrating the history of Counter-Strike esports with legendary player Christopher ‘GeT_RiGhT’ Alesund.
BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 (June)

Immediately after ESI London is Counter Strike’s BLAST Premier: Spring Final at the OVO Arena in Wembley, London. Part of BLAST’s big push into the UK, the Spring Final has a $425,000 prize pool with teams like Astralis, NAVI, FaZe Clan and Team Vitality competing. Winner also gets a spot in the World Final in November.
Last major UK CS event was the 2018 FACEIT Major London. Winner was Astralis.
RLCS 2024 – Major 2 (June)

Back in London’s Copperbox Arena from June 20th-23rd is the second RLCS Major of 2024. The 2022 event here was the 7th most viewed Rocket League event (280,226 peak viewers) so the RLCS is returning to the UK capital with more speed than ever. It’s the 3rd major Rocket League LAN in London after the first RLCS Season 5 Finals in 2018, lovingly known as LANdon and by the community as one of the best events ever.
The top 3 most viewed Rocket League esports events are all from 2024 and 2023 with last year’s World Championship hitting 450,000+ viewers so there’s a lot of hype for the RLCS to return to London.
Like the Rainbow Six and CS events above, BLAST is running the event. They signed a multi-year deal with Epic Games to run the RLCS in January 2024.
League of Legends World Championship 2024 Finals (November)

Europe is the spot for this year’s big League of Legends battle, bringing another top gaming event to London. In November, the city will see one of the hugest matches in esports – the tournament’s last big game.
Set to happen at The O2 Arena, the League of Legends World Championship 2024 Finals wraps up Riot Games’ long event. Before landing in London, teams fight in Berlin’s Riot Games Arena (Play-Ins and Swiss Stage) and in Paris’ Adidas Arena (for the quarter and semi finals).
It’s worth noting, this marks the second time in a row that League of Legends holds a big event in the UK, with the previous year’s Mid Season Invitational at the Copperbox Arena.
PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 (November/December)

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 is the last major event in the UK. It was announced in December 2023 but very little is known of its location still. This however marks the first ever main PUBG Mobile esports tournament to be held in the UK and West Europe’s first since 2019’s PUBG Mobile Club Open – Spring Split Global Finals.
Two other international events for this season are taking place in Brazil and Saudi Arabia, thus making this event end a long season for PUBG Mobile’s esport.
